To schedule an initial appointment with Dr. Gardner, speak with Vanessa. She will take a brief history from you to discuss with Dr. Gardner. so she can schedule you or your loved one. She can also discuss fees with you since the office does not take insurance and is private pay. If Dr. Gardner can help, Vanessa will fit you in quickly.
Initial Consultation
Dr. Gardner conducts a thorough psychiatric evaluation, typically lasting 1½ hours, to gain a comprehensive understanding of your current situation. Based on this assessment, he may recommend additional tests or lab work to inform a follow-up endocrine appointment, if necessary. Endocrine appointments will be scheduled after the completion of any required lab work.
Ongoing Care
Dr. Gardner establishes the frequency of your appointments through mutual assessment of your needs. As your prescribing physician, these sessions offer you the chance to provide updates on your progress and raise any significant concerns or topics for discussion.
Medication Management
Medication management appointments are charged at a flat rate and usually last up to 25 minutes, though they can also be as brief as 10 minutes. These appointments serve as a regular check-in to assess your progress and experience with your current medications. Depending on your prescription type, these appointments are scheduled every two or three months, in accordance with mandatory licensing guidelines.
